Free Poster: Echoes From Literature - Animal Farm
George Orwell’s novella Animal Farm explores an imaginary barnyard rebellion to tell an allegorical story about the Russian Revolution and the failures of totalitarianism. In order to distinguish themselves from humans and establish order on the farm, the animals created seven commandments. But as the pigs gain control of the farm, they alter these rules for their own benefit. Eventually, the commandments are replaced by a single phrase: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Display this famous quotation during your Animal Farm unit with this free printable classroom poster!
